The principle of the two rows of teeth was developed Britain and is a registered patent worldwide.

One row is made out of dense metal teeth and the parallel line is made out of high-density teeth.

Combing the hair using two rows doubles the comb's effectiveness in capturing nits (compared to a one-row comb). This high efficiency is achieved thanks to the "crisscross" principle: the comb glides through the hair and captures the lice and their eggs between the two rows of teeth. The dense row captures big, mature lice and the high-density row captures the smaller lice and nits.

The metal teeth are made of stainless steel and have round edges, to prevent any injury to the scalp.
