The C-A-T® utilizes a durable windlass system with a patented free-moving internal band providing true circumferential pressure to the extremity. Once adequately tightened, bleeding will cease and the windlass is locked into place. A hook and loop windlass retention strap is then applied, securing the windlass to maintain pressure during casualty evacuation. The C-A-T®’s unique dual securing system avoids the use of screws and clips which can become difficult to operate under survival stress or where fine motor skills are compromised.

The Emergency 6” Bandage consolidates numerous treatment equipment into a single unit:
Non-adherent pad - eliminating the risk of causing pain and having the wound re-opened upon removal of the bandage.
Pressure Applicator - creating the immediate direct pressure to the wound site.
Secondary Sterile Dressing - keeping the wound area clean and maintaining the pad and pressure on the wound firmly in place, including immobilization of the injured limb or body part.
Closure Bar - enabling closure and fixation of the Emergency Bandage at any point, on all parts of the body: no pins and clips, no tape, no Velcro, no knots.

You can rely on Celox to stop bleeding when you need it most. Celox works on all bleeding wounds; from minor cuts and grazes, to severe wounds. Celox is easy to use (just pour, pack and apply pressure), very safe and extremely effective. When mixed with blood, Celox forms a robust gel plug in 30 seconds. This clotting action is independent of the body’s normal clotting processes. Celox’s clotting ability has been proven to work in the presence of common anti-coagulants such as warfarin.
