bought for a friend with clotting problems
Have a friend who has clotting problems. Every time he gets a small cut or abrasion, it can take hours to get the bleeding stopped. I gave him a package of these and a few days later he called me to tell me he had to use one of them. He told me his bleeding stopped within a mater of minutes

As happens when your doing the wrong thing
Have cabin out in the woods and have to snow machine in during the winter.
Well just today went to the cabin to clean snow off my solar panels that charge my battery bank. They are my only electric power.
Standing on lower roof was using broom to push snow off solar panels on higher roof. The roof has sheet panel panels and sharp edge. Hit the edge with my index finger at first joint and cut myself to the bone. Blood flowing at good rate as I climbed down and found the new band aids I had bought just weeks back. Would not stop bleeding with pressure but once I wrapped the first bandaid around it, wow, it slowed and stopped bleeding in seconds.
Will never go anywhere without them again.
