Celox Home First Aid
You can rely on Celox to stop bleeding when you need it most. Celox works on all bleeding wounds; from minor cuts and grazes, to severe wounds.
Celox is easy to use (just pour, pack and apply pressure), very safe and extremely effective. When mixed with blood, Celox forms a robust gel plug in 30 seconds. This clotting action is independent of the bodies normal clotting processes. Celox's clotting ability has been proven to work in the presence of common anti-coagulants such as warfarin.
In tests on swine by the U.S. Navy in Jacksonville, Celox was the only product to ive 100% survival. Celox is made with chitosan. Chitosan is broken down in the body by lysozyme, a human enzyme, to leave glucosamine, a sugar which is normally found in the body.
Celox Granules are suitable for

I bought this for my elderly father in law, who is on blood thinners and bleeds easily. He used it for the first time today for a cut on his arm that just wouldn't stop bleeding from pressure, and these granules stopped the bleeding nearly instantly. Just a great thing to have on hand. I've started carrying some in my wallet just in case of emergencies. This stuff is trusted by the military on the battlefield, that's good enough for me and my family.
This stuff is great for cuts and gashes. The older I get, the thinner my skin gets. I've even packed the in my survival kits. And IsraeliFirstAid had the best price I could find.
I have used these Celox-bags for some time now, and they are very effective against bleeds, provided the Celox is adequately pressed onto the wound for a couple of minutes. Great product!
always take with them on the road and to the country. Effective for stopping bleeding.
I keep Celox on hand for emergencies and minor cuts. I take a blood thinner so sometimes a cut just won't stop. So far I have only used one pack of Celox on a 1/2" long cut from a filleting knife. I only needed half the pack to stop the bleeding and used the other half the next day when I changed the bandage.
